Why is it only playing in New York and L.A. -- is the rest of the country not sophisticated enough? Anyway, I think "Year of the Dog" has an interesting, unique story plus it has Molly Shannon, which is reason enough to watch any film (even "Serendipity")!
shareUh, Molly Shannon could've just as easily not been in Serendipity and it wouldn't even make a difference. Come to think of it, I can't think of any movie where she made a difference. However, she wan't bad in this movie (saw a sneak preview of it last night in DC), but it's not as big a compliment as one might think if you see the type of character she played. I'll just say she did it convincingly.

It looked awesome and mysterious in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", did you see that movie? It made me want to visit Savannah.
shareOnce you cover the stuff from that story, there's nothing to do here. I covered that in two weeks and five years later I can't wait to leave.

U live in Savannah too? I want to see this movie so bad too. Mainly because I am a Regina King fan. Savannah not so bad, but hey I guess I am saying it because I will be leaving soon for college.
