On this and other boards I started threads "Wendy and Lucy or Marley and Me", and "Year of the Dog or Marley and Me".
So now somewhat belatedly I'm posting a thread asking the question, which is the better dog film out of Year of the Dog or Wendy and Lucy?
I'm going to give the slight edge to "Wendy and Lucy," though I gave both that and this 8/10. While I enjoyed this very much, I think this film is an odd mix of comedy and tragedy. "Wendy and Lucy" seems truer to its vision, and it's gorgeously filmed and acted.
