What was up with Peter's character in this?

Was he like into women, men and dogs or something??

Or was he just like asexual?

I really think he was into dogs but remained celibate because the dogs couldn't give their consent.

I thought the film suggested he'd been abused. Something about his parents being in a cult?

He chose to be celibate because he hadn't had much luck with human relationships. He got on better with animals, but I don't think it was intended to be in a sexual way.

what a great actor Saarsgard really is. He left me cold in the past but was amazing here. Great character, including the elements that make us question him in this thread.
