Did anyone else notice the mic boom in the top of the frame in multiple shots of the film? In one particular shot when Newt is sitting on his bedroom floor the boom is in half of the frame. Is Mike White that bad of a director that he would just think that would go un-noticed? Mind you it did provide some comic relief.
shareIt might have been your projectionist. I went today and noticed no boom at all. You might have been missing some of the bottom of the screen. Did you like the movie though? I enjoyed it and just love Molly Shannon.
shareIt was a great first movie if you consider the amazing performances by every principal in the cast. Noticing a boom entering the picture by mistake is not something that makes or breaks a movie.
