One of my favorite shows- Sarah Connor Chronicles :) It also sometimes reminds me of Switched at Birth.

Dark Angel.
Smallville.
...to an extent, the 1998 tv series Prey.
...the 4400 miniseries reminds me of it a bit.
...probably the Tomorrow People.
