...the younger brother?
Granted, I'm only 6 episodes into the series on Netflix, but I am getting worn out with the continuous "Kyle is an alien" comments from the youngest member of the family.
I hope the writers shut him down as the series progresses; once he became annoying to me I also couldn't help but focus on his terrible acting skills.
Anyway, just curious if anyone else out there feels/felt the same?
Yes and no. I don't hate him, but I don't like him or his sister. I think tv show writers stereotype roles so much that they end up being caricatures and often unlikeable. Beyond that, I don't know that the actor, himself, is necessarily "bad." He seems to be more hamming it up more than anything. I feel the same way about the actress that plays the sister. Maybe it's the way they were directed to behave? Who knows?

We are just into season 2 and it hasn't improved.
These kids are just obnoxious and treat their parents horrible. We raised 4 children and our eldest daughter was not easy but none of them were ever allowed to get away with disrespecting us.
What a horrible influence for Kyle to learn from. It's a good thing he was not only smart but actually had a conscience.
