Am I the only one who could not stand Jessi?

She was so annoying. I really hated where they were going with the show in season three. Trying to make Jessi and Kyle happen. Jessi really needed to find her own place in the world and stop trying to live through Kyle and his.

Totally agree. Ok, I actually didn't see much of season 3, but from 2 I didn't really like her. I hear she got a bit better but I hate that they forced them together.

I didn't mind Jessie, but I agree they should have dropped the Kyle and Jessie should be together. If they had, it could've extended the show or even a spin-off that some writers are so fond of.

I hated Jessie with a fierce passion. I never felt anything for her. Then I discovered some people actually really liked and I was like '...but why'

Jessi was wonderful! She was never given the emotional support and understanding that was offered to Kyle. When people didn't diss her, they ignored her. She was alone, and she got no sympathy from other until maybe the last few episodes.

Yet she learned to be selfless and compassionate so much that she told Amanda she wanted Kyle to be happy and she would no longer interfere because that's what you do for people you care about.

Jessi may have looked like a grown woman, but as far as emotional development goes, she was a child, and children start off as sociopaths because they haven't learned any better yet.

Jessi was basically a fully grown child, and her "upbringing" was far different from Kyle's so she struggled with things more than Kyle did.

I think people who hate Jessi, do so because they did not understand her or why she is the way she is (at that time in her development).

No doubt even though Jessi was annoying most of the time it was understandable. She was fighting what she was programmed to do which shows she didn't like the person she was.
Kyle was a clean slate and had he remained in the juvenile system he may have ended up very different even dangerous. However he ended up with a "mother" who truly cared and worked with him in doing the right thing.
Jessie was influence by nothing but bad. At least she tried not to be.

I understand her character. It doesn't mean I have to like it. Especially forcing her and Kyle together.

when the show aired, she didn't have a lot of fans

i liked jessi near the end when she became more human and less crazy. She was like a emotionless person in season2 but still felt sorry for her being manipulated by the company. So theres no surprise she was the way she was.

i wouldve like her and kyle hooking up. way more entertaining relationship than amanada/kyle
