ok, i have the snl 25th dvd, and im looking at a transcript of the show and supposedly there were clips of musical performances over the years? in the dvd i have there is nothing about that! and its an offical dvd! anyone else have this happen to them?

There are no performances on the DVD because of royalties.

They did not have the rights to the music for that VHS.

I have the "official" VHS, and there are clips of Eurythmics, Elvis Costello, Beastie Boys and Al Green. I don't know why it's not on the DVD, but like the other poster said, it may be a licensing issue. I don't know why they labeled it like that, though.
