Morgan Freeman's Performance
Is worth seeing this alone. Paz Vega is hot in this also...

One of the reasons I wanted to watch this movie. I have always loved Morgan Freeman in everything he does.

Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.
If you are a Morgan Freeman fan, it's a worthwhile watch. I was curious about whether or not HIM was Morgan's real life personality. Or was he playing a role.

However, if you are NOT a Morgan Freeman fan, there is not much you will like about it. Honestly, this movie should be recommended only for Freeman's fans.
shareI agree with t/OP. It was a cute little "character study" movie. And MF was brilliant. Paz irritated me in earlier scenes, (over the top- broad performance). Eventually, she calmed down and was more natural. I ended up liking her a lot. But it was a nice lil slow diversion. Saw it on dvd on a sunday afternoon after stressful week. Perfect.

But, hated the touching face ending..kinda cheesy.. didn't feel natural.
Morgan Freeman was fantastic.
With regards to Paz Vega,she definitely needs to become better in delivering her lines in English.
When this movie was made in 2006,she has been knowledgeable of the English language for only 2 years!!!
At present,she still needs to improve after seeing her at TRIAGE.
It undermines her ability to showcase her acting ability.
