What's the song playing while they are driving at the very end of the film? The lyrics involve a fisherman or something along those lines. Anyone know?

I came to IMDB in search of a couple of songs from this movie. I saw it today, but in hopes that it wasn't in the soundtrack listings I stood to watch the credits. I saw a Paul Simon credit, didn't catch the name of the song. Though, it makes sense since he was picking out a Paul Simon tape. You might try looking on his website. If I find it I'll post it. It was a good movie. Good luck.

I think the song you're looking for is called Duncan, he sings about a fisherman, but to me it doesn't sound like the song in the movie. I'm gonna keep looking. If you read this and hear the song, post a repy letting me know if it is or isn't.

Yes. That's it. Thanks. I should have known it was Paul Simon. They specifically show Morgan Freeman buyin an old Paul Simon cassette. It sounded like him, but I just didn't make the connection.

The reissue of Paul Simon's first solo album has a demo version of "Duncan." It's the album version, unless I'm totally off.

That was a nice song but it was too old for this generation.
Just my 0.02 worth though.
