that's not the joke at all, since it's made obvious the camera man was filming the wrong people.

i only saw the unrated dvd and is that scene in the theatrical because it was on the same level of a porno,

That was the funniest part. You watch it and realise "Man, that chick has a hot body...hay wait a minute". "Ahh, your wristwatch is caught in my pubes!"

Yeah, there's something wrong with the poster of this thread. That sex scene was clearly the funniest scene of the movie, and the most brilliant joke. I don't think ANYBODY saw that punchline coming (might I add that the audience seemed to forget about the idea of a cameraman following the cops around...though the movie did somewhat ditch the mockumentary format)

I think it's pretty funny how there are a few people here who are criticizing the sex scene only because they were stupid enough to watch it with their parents. What did you expect? Did you not notice the R rating? How is it the movie's fault that you were uncomfortable? Seems to be more of an issue between you and your folks and discussing sexuality like adults. How do you think you were conceived? Test tube? Maybe there should have be warnings or signs that would tell you before you watch the movie whether or not it will be okay to view it with your parents to avoid any embarrassment. Grow up!

you do know taht the female that was being *beep* was eva mendes right. look at the face when they look at the camera and start freaking out. at first i was liek omg that's sooo gross and i was like why is she soo tan. and i was like that isn't her but the thought of it being her was soo. just ewww. but then it was eva and i was like omg thank god it was eva

We understand that those weren't "Body Doubles" right? They were other actors? The camera man was taping two completely different people in the room next door. Was the theater version really that different?

It would have been *funnier* if they had spliced in obvious body doubles between real shots of trudy and dangle having awkward sex.

thank you, somebody on this thread with some sense. everybody got so personal, and i wonder if most of those people watched the unrated version because you're right, not a lot was left to the imagination at all.

it would have been just as funny, probably even funnier if they toned that part down a bit and cut it a bit shorter...you know, just enough for us to be like "hang on a second, that's not weigle and dangle...". it could have easily been accomplished.
