I've wondered this for a long time. Why did the White Witch need Adam's blood to fully revive when there is nothing human about her. Jadis is half giant and half djin so why does she need the blood of a human? Anyone have any thoughts?

Probably the same reason every James Bond villain needs to explain what his plan is when there is still a chance it can be prevented, and also to leave Bond unsupervised in an overly exotic deathtrap with an easy possibility of escape.
