I believe it's the only book in the series that hasn't been filmed yet.
Isn't it time we filmed that one for once, instead of filming the ones that have already been done, and potentially running out of funding before they've gotten them all done, and again leaving the first book unfilmed yet again?
I'd love to see The Magician's Nephew done. But they'd absolutely have to have Tilda return as Jadis.

There are seven books in the series. Walden has done three (counting VotDT). The BBC did four in three miniseries. (LWW, PC, VotDT, and TSC--PC and VotDT were one miniseries). There was an animated LWW. No one has done a "Magician's Nephew", "Horse and His Boy", or "The Last Battle" on film or TV.
They are filming them in a coherent order, in fact, it is the order so far that they were published. I would love to see MN done as well, but at the rate they are going, it will be 2014-2018 before they finally get MN to the theatres.

I too would like to see the last three books filmed. I hope that they will stay popular enough that they will all be made. But it sort of makes sense to film MN later as it doesn't have the same impact if you haven't read/seen the rest of the stories.
