Peter is such a hypocrite... (spoilers)

After the duel Peter wins and decides not to kill Miraz, as he does not want to be at the same level with him. Seriously? You killed his men without thinking twice, and they were just doing their duty. And then, you decide that you cannot kill the real evil guy, who was giving the orders. I do not get it, can somebody explain this situation to me?

Something else that didn't make sense to me: I noticed that during the last scene of the fight (right before the trees come), Susan was able to knock out men with a single punch (and then continue to use her archery skills), whereas Prince Caspian was getting his ass kicked...

1 - It was Caspian, not Peter, who decided not to kill Miraz.

2 - After the duel, Miraz was defeated and unarmed. That wasn't the case with the Telmarine soldiers killed in the battles. Killing Miraz during the duel would have been okay - killing him after it was over would have been an execution. You don't execute people without at least a trial or something (in civilized societies, anyways).
