First viewing, the differences with the book were too great, the dwarf being rowed all the way from Miraz's castle to near the coast felt junk. I put this to one side. I did not bother to get a disk of Dawn Trader. At least this was not written from a White Witch point of view, nothing like the HP series.
Re-watch this recently and I was reminded of how amazing I had found Anna in The Little Vampire. I can now like this a lot. I found it easy to shrug off the differences with the book, all except the song 'This Is Home'.
