Why weren't any cops stationed at the back of the warehouse? If at least one was back there, Vadim wouldn't have made it to the cornfield.

I thought this exact same thing during that part. It's pretty implausible that the police wouldn't have surrounded the warehouse.

It was kind of a lousy raid in several respects, I thought. From not surrounding the warehouse, to simply announcing themselves without being ready for a fight, to letting a probationary officer go running off alone, to setting a damn acre of wildlife on fire in order to chase a suspect . . .
