it's one of those movies you don't want to watch, because they do happen in reality, and it's not pleasant.
admired Jacquin's performance. Waldbergh's performance was up to his high standards as usual, but Bobby was at the spotlight all the time. it was a very sublime external change in him, and a very deep one inside.

Like when they called the failed hit on Marky Mark 'professional'. Thats laughable. A Professional killer would not have shot a mark with 1 bullet through the cheek and then set his empty car ablaze just to draw attention faster.
he would never be hired again. Maybe killed himself for doing such a bad job.
What kind of big time drug dealer just approaches somebody they dont know well and shows them their whole operation? lol. Front a ki? Maybe. Show whole operation? Never. Rather absurd actually.
Phoenix turns snitch and states witness because his brother gets a minor scar on his face? haha.
If there had been an Eva Mendez nude scene I might have given it a second star.

This movie was great.
I'm really hard on movies, but I thought this one was especailly well done.
The acting was spot on, and the music was perfect.
What makes me laugh is when people rip this movie, but then they love a movie like Scary Movie. This movie is not a popcorn flick.
It's dark, and doesn't make you feel good at the end. In the end, nobody wins. Bobby repairs his relationship with his brother, but it costs him his girlfriend, best friend, father, and all of his friends from his old life. Nobody wins.
Today, most people just want their ears and eyes tickeled for a couple of hours. Most people can't appreciate a great movie like this.
