Fattest cop movie hero ever

I saw a Joaquin Phoenix movie after ages and whoa has he really grown up over the years. I have seen a lot of cop movies but this had the fattest main protagonist ever ( Please do not include any Eddie Murphy type movies, i am talking about serious crime drama).

Don't get it what happens to these guys , all the money all that fame...so much in the limelight that you have to maintain your self and boooooooom...explosion and you come out as a incarnation of elvis ( later years )

He skinny as a rail now. His character is an alcoholic drifter, so he has the physique to fit it.

He wasn' t fat in WOTN.
Look at him in that white silk shirt.

His weight may flucuate, but he has never been really fat.

Was he supposed to be a alcoholic drifter? I thought he was supposed to be the suave man about town who manages the hottest club in NY

And dude you have to agree that when at the end he comes out in the cop uniform he was bursting out of it.

Alcoholic drifter is his new role.

As for the academy graduation, he did look heavier. I accepted that he wanted to show a beefier figure like he had been through the academy training.
He was heavier, but not fat......somewhat like he looked as a fireman in Ladder 49.
I'll admit he looked picked green in he uniform. It was snug.

thats why he should have remained a "gangster" type,the body ,hair, and face and attitude does not say cop, imo

It could pass as an old wound.
I had a swimming coach with knife scars on his face. He looked tough as hell.
