Question for Law Enforcement or Lawyers

After the drug bust and Bobby is in hiding they have the 'Welcome Home' party for his brother. His brother asks his father and some of the other cops to go outside and the Dad asks Bobby to join them. They then talk about what they found out after the raid. My question is: should they really have allowed Bobby into that conversation? Isn't that causing undue influence on a key witness to the eventual trial? I would think he wouldn't be discussing key aspects of an upcoming trial with a witness.

From my understanding... Isn't undue influence more on the sense of contract law...?? And it's in relation to whether or not the more powerful party takes advantage of the weaker one given the relationship between them, such as doctor and patient etc. i'm not a lawyer btw, so i could be wrong... But yes i see what you mean.,, good question... I wouldnt know the legal sense of that situation, but i would imagine it was kinda wrong,.. Idk haha :)
