I went in with an open mind. I loved the first Ring and the second was alright.
This was garbage. I DID stay for the entire movie, but in the first 5 minutes when she comes out of the plane to get those who have watched the tape I just sighed to myself knowing this was going to be horrible.
Some cheesy can be GOOD and genuinely freaky if used right. The original Evil Dead is a good example of that. Cheesy yet creepy.
This was just beyond bad. The acting was terrible, and really, the movie itself was boring.
When people shriek at this, i know that people are becoming too easily entertained by "suspense"
I give it a 2/10, at best. Save your money for something good.
I believe it because i've seen some people get afraid of really unscary things in recent years.
Shrieking, jumping, flinching, at children seeing ghosts or "the kid seeing a demon" as if the cliche hasn't been used 1000s of times before.
I am ready for another memorable slasher. Keep the cheesy things like this, along with the children seeing ghosts/having ghosts friends, possessions and exorcisms, and the likes.
We will never see another good slasher flick or memorable killer like Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, or Freddy Krueger. Im honestly convinced we wont because money goes into trash movies instead.
The halloween coming out in a few years MAY bring about the rise of slasher flicks again.
I didnt care for the Conjuring either. Didn't even bother watching the second for this reason. I actually don't know if ive seen any thriller/horror in recent years.
No, shyt - he just went on a major hissy fit with me via PM. He was sending PMs so fast, he didn't even wait for my reply before sending a new one with a new subject heading. He couldn't even finish his OWN thoughts before sending a new one.
These boards are unhealthy for him.
"Hello, hello, what's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here!"
By telling you to leave him alone to have a movie conversation, you think that I'M being a jerk? Interesting...
And, if these boards were still going to be around in a week, you KNOW you would back off if I told you to. If I say jump, you'd always do so immediately. It's only because the boards are leaving that you're suddenly getting 'bold.' If you have to work THIS hard to impress your friends, then they were never really your friends to begin with...
"Hello, hello, what's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here!"
I've never wished death upon anyone. I'm not even sure where that's coming from, but okay...
I don't think everything on the internet is a joke. I think that everything that I say in a jokey manner on the internet is a joke. Big distinction.
I DO, however, think that you have genuine psychological issues. I don't mean that in an 'internet joke' kind of way. I mean that as a genuine statement of concern (not for, but about you). You cling to these things that you create in your mind and they become a reality for you that you hold as a grudge for a year or more.
THIS is all supposed to be a joke. We just call Dean old and poor (even though we have no actual evidence of either) and call him dumb (we DO have evidence of that) and call it that. Instead, you actually try to mess with his real life. That's just sick, man. I truly hope that you get help after these boards close (which, I think is probably a good thing for you - you don't need this).
"Hello, hello, what's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here!"
In the post I was replying to, you called me a jerk, an idiot, and said you will have no sympathy when I die, but you're getting broken up over something you perceive as a single insult? Also, I did not call you a psycho. I said you have psychological problems. And, then, in a response, you decided to prove me correct...
