Did the same dog ("Joe") play Boomer in Night Passage and Reggie in the other films? They look sorta the same, especially the grey hairs around the nose, which made me think it was the same animal. The imdb entry for Night Passage does not include the dog's name.
shareBoomer is not listed on IMBD. However, at the end of "Night Passage", they show a picture of Boomer and show that he is played by Bubba. Reggie is played by a dog named Joe as shown on IMBD.

Two or three scenes with Boomer{cruel vet}and Reggie fill my eyes up.
