Part 2 has cameras in room. Part 1 didn't?

I can't get through this movie without comparing it all to part 1 and realizing that it pale's in comparison to part 1. In part 2 there are camera's set up in the room's? In part 1 if there would have been camera's (which there wasn't), then they would have seen 2 of their own men get killed by Paxel and come barging in.

Yes. That's why all the rooms have cameras now. Since Paxton escaped in the first film, they beefed up security to ensure that no victims could ever escape again.

Yea, they are certainly raking in too much dough from killing backpackers to *not* have even a basic surveillance system and security. After Paxton, they had to upgrade, no question. I mean, two clients were killed on the premises and one at the train station back in Germany. A little thing like this getting out and would absolutely ruin their unique business, lol.

This was one of the things that I didn't really like about the sequel however. In the first, they were just some Slovakian yokels, honey trapping backpackers and serving them up for a quick infusion of Western money. They were well-armed and had a decent ground game (evident from Alexi, I think - the douchebag with the mole on his face) yet were pretty unsophisticated. In the sequel, they were suddenly run better than some countries. On-demand internet bidding, high tech security with counter-measures, tracking and hunting down anyone who escaped being victimized (anywhere in the world apparently) and mounting their heads in a trophy room... it was just a little too much and kind of took away from the overall scariness and any "realism" the first had for me anyway.
