WTF!?!,HUH?,HMM

So,discarded ideas end up in some place? If they do,then why are they scary? Would a thrown away shopping list be like the movie? Things she didn't even write are turning up. How's that? Are all of the people Abandoned/discarded? And from where? A book? Someones life? And how do they all know about "re-cycle"? How does the little girl know so much about places and things outside of "Toy land" That she's supposedly never left? With an abortion subtext? I wonder if the Pang Bros are followers of James Dobson! With an ending very reminiscent of "Swimming Pool"
This movie F'ing Sucks! Great imagery though.

Almost all your questions are answered in the movie. Watch it again.

Is there something I should be looking for inparticular? Or,section of the movie? I still think it's too much like "Swimming Pool". Liquor&Whores,Bitches!

I haven't seen Swimming Pool yet, so I can't comment on the ending.

As for the questions, basically when she first meets the old guy on the bench is where you need to start again and watch until the end.

I did feel that the old guy was important. Because it seemed that he had a lot of answers for her questions. As to Swimming Pool,WATCH IT! It's a very good film. And you will see how both films have almost the same ending. I do prefer the Swimming Pool ending because you really wonder what is real, what happened, and, what didn't happen.

The old guy was definitely important. I'm not trying to be rude but... did you watch til the end of the movie? Because his relevance was revealed toward the end.

I did watch to the end. I must have missed the old man's connection at the end. As I told K.S.,check out SWIMMING POOL (2003). And you'll see the similarity between the two. And I do think that S.P. pulls it off better. Liquor & Whores,Bitches!

I think you are also applying Western ideals to a very Eastern story. I did make a leap to come to that conclusion, but I'm finding that is very common among a lot of the posts on here.

The "abortion" theme was not the dominant theme, it was a device. The scene where all of the dead were at their graves because they have been "abandoned" was just as prominent and important to the story. Many may miss this because it is not a dominant theme in the West and not very controversial in the West... in China, especially, respect for one's ancestors is one of the highest priorities.

This sounds a bit too much like "you're a dumbass".

Personally I find myself asking the exact same questions and while I think I might have a few plausible answers I don't think any of them are very good. Are you sure that the OP doesn't simply find those answers unconvincing?

This thread should be called "I'm shilling for the movie: Swimming Pool".
