The flowers

Ok so I know this was an explosive episode full of fake crying, fake hyperventilating, conversations not actually filmed (also faked maybe) and lots of annoying horny Vicki. The biggest question I have though, is did Vicki send herself the flowers to the hotel? My guess is yes. It was over the top and it didnt stop her from hanging on every guy available. If my guy sent me flowers to a hotel for my arrival, I wouldn't be throwing myself at any man that walks. So, did she send them to herself?

reply

Lots of people seem to think so.

reply

I actually don't think so. Men that go after reality show girls tend to be super aggressive, totally all in within days, the whole nine. Idk why, perhaps it's the cameras or maybe they think they have to do that.

reply

That was such a Jan Brady move.

reply

Sure, Jan [Vicki].....

OMG that's brilliant!! Vicki's George Glass equivalent baaahaha!

reply

Hahaha, that was the first thing I thought when that idiot was acting surprised about the flowers. Sure, Vicki....

reply

Good memory to have come up with that one. Cue the applause. The same exact point tee hee!!

BTW...how much sugar did Florence Henderson pour into that coffee?

reply

Haha, yeah, the amount of sugar she was pouring into that coffee is crazy. This was from the movie, with Shelley Long, so it wasn't THAT long ago ;)
Well, 20 years...now I feel old! It's been popping up on HBO recently.

OMG... just reread this post with you as I was scrolling down to see another answer that some nice poster responded to and holy $?#T!! I just realized that I was so exhausted this past week (hurricane and flood evacuation) that I was calling Shelley Long (Carol Brady) Florence Henderson. That was nice of you not to attack me on that mistake...my mind is usually more focused...and your kindness is appreciated. Perhaps I'm the one who should have be putting all that sugar in my coffee!!!

reply

Definitely. The "I love you" was overkill. Liars always add that extra piece of information which usually gives them away.

reply

Karma, you are so right. It wasn't enough to just send herself flowers- she one upped it with the love comment. You can tell when Vicki is lying too- she acts weirder than her normal weird!

reply

I didn't think she sent them to herself, but it did cross my mind that production set it up. Maybe she knew, maybe not. Too convenient, either way.

reply

From Heather's blig on bravo.com:

How many people thought Vicki sent the flowers to herself? Seemed a little convenient upon check in. Any time Terry has sent me flowers when I'm traveling they put them in my room. Hmmmmm.

reply

Heather isn't stupid and neither are the rest of us.

reply

Exactly. I've gotten flowers at a hotel and they were always waiting for me in my room. Vicki is full of it.

reply

AND...aren't they usually in a vase or boxed rather than wrapped?

Vicki wasn't one bit surprised the flowers were there upon her arrival. She was very blase about the flowers so she either sent them to herself, or she would rather Steve send a casserole.

No decent hotel staff would allow a guest to schlep off with those flowers. At the very least if not waiting for her in her room, they would have been placed on her luggage cart. That was a calculated stab at attempting to make the ladies jealous and make the viewers think Steve sent them. She sent those to herself, topping off her own love tank. Heather was spot on.

Come to think of it, the first time Steve tells her he loves her is on a florist card? No, not buying it.

reply

That's a good point about the first "I Love You" being on a card and not being some whispered sweet moment during...well....a gas station fill up for her love tank lol??

reply

"Gas station fill up", a ha ha ha
