Like seriously? Now we're nit picking phrases? Was she even trying to be funny? Let's address the elephant in the room is an expression of "its so obvious it's there yet no one wants to talk about it or acknowledge this big piece of information or what's been going on"

But someone actually said something similar to the OP's quote. I think it was Heather? It was obvious that wasn't what Kelly meant when she said elephant in the room, but I was pretty shocked to hear the fat comment after. Rewatch the scene; it's hard to hear, but it's there.

That was nuts! Did Tamra say it? If so, maybe she hasn't heard the expression.

Yes, I think it was Tamra. She said something like "Don't say that. It sounds like your calling her fat."
