HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?
I thought this was the most predictable, boring, rip-off of my money, ridiculous movie I've ever seen. Besides being bored throughout the entire movie, the plot was so incredibly predictable, that the only enjoyment I got while sitting there was to guess what was coming around the corner...and I was inevitably correct!!!
The director gets it right a good percentage of the time with his movies, but there are way too many clunkers, and this one is the prime example.
I also thought 'Behind the Candelabra' was only so-so. It seemed as if it were way too unscripted in many scenes, with the actors trying to figure out what they were going to say, and just phumphing it. Also, while I thought both Damon and Douglas did journeyman jobs, it bothered me that Douglas was too small to play Liberace. Liberace was a bigger man with broader shoulders, and Douglas just seemed too slight.
