BOURNE reference

The filmakers gave a "nod" to the Bourne movies when Linus was walking down the street in London(?) and the camera was shaking.

Funny!!

I saw it the second time in watched. The scene is out of place and te camera is very very shakey, too much, it was verry funny!

I only just caught this on my latest viewing. The camera is shaking all over the place, the sirens are wailing in the background, Damon is stomping around talking crazy on his phone. Absolutely hilarious Bourne reference.

Never caught that before. Hilarious.

The arrangement is changing. Well it's been changed.
As a matter of fact, there is no arrangement.

Wow, I never caught it either! I always wondered why he was acting all paranoid and the scene's picture has that blue-tone to it. Now I get it! lmao

I like to think the first three films are happening at the same time and Rusty has just been mistaken for Bourne.

reply

I think you guys are reaching.

reply

Nope. In the behind-the-scenes footage, they said that was exactly what they were going for with the bluish hues and shaky camera of Linus trying to find out about the Greco. Ocean's 12 and 13 had a number of meta-references, like Clooney telling Brad Pitt at the end he should settle down and have a few kids.

Plus in the trivia section it says that scene was filmed while Damon was filming a Bourne movie. I wouldn't be surprised if their crew was the one that filmed that scene.

Yep, they were in London filming the Waterloo Train Station scene in London at the time for Bourne Ultimatum, and a couple of blogs had seen Matt filming this scene running around in a suit and confused alot of people as to why he was doing this for the Bourne Ultimatum.... it was then discovered that this was a scene for Oceans, and had to be written around his time in London for filming Bourne.

Like Tess was mistaken for Julia Roberts in Ocean's 12 lol.

reply

@Neoblackdragon ...Rusty has just been mistaken for Bourne.
Noah Vosen: We found Bourne, and he's been shot in the head.
Pamela Landy: It's over.

*10 minutes later*

Vosen: It wasn't Bourne, turns out it was some pickpocket called Rusty.
Landy: Oh FFS.
