A couple of plot questions.....

First of all, I enjoyed this film. Pure entertainment. BUT... I have a couple of questions with the plot.

1. There is a scene where Bank meets the motorcycle guy who is going to perform the stunt. Bank meets him when he first arrives. He might have even been wearing a helmet, but still.... how can Basher portray him in the cartwheel? Surly Banks would know if he were black or white, and I believe there is a picture that the stuntman was white. Am I wrong in this?

2. Livingston couldn't get the blackjack shoes to work the way he wanted so he called in Roman. AND he said "can we keep this between us?" So Roman is the mastermind behind the machines, and he and Livingston figure out a way to have Roman replace them by getting Livingston arrested. But when Danny sees the "FBI" guy come in, he is not the least bit surprised, saying "The Bureau is in the house".... knowing full well it is Linus' father. Then, Bank runs a profile on Livingston, and the guys have to change their online profiles so Bank can connect Livingston to Ocean. At the same time, Linus' father seems to be an part of the scheme all along.
I guess what I am saying is..... was this all planned? Is the only part not planned the changing of the online ID? Would Linus' father been there anyway?

I know this isn't really important; it is just a couple of points that bug me when I watch the film. But I like the film; certainly MUCH better than Ocean's Twelve!

I've seen this movie twice and still don't get that part either. The movie is a fun ride regardless, I liked all three and they have several of my favorite actors in them, so I guess you just have to avoid questioning anything.

Someone in another thread explains the Livingston plot in detail. Essentially Livingston planned on being arrested by Linus' father in order to get Roman to swap the machines. Livingston did not plan on his fingerprints getting scanned and it's not clear how much of this plan Danny was aware of. He seemed to know Agent Caldwell was in on the heist, but not that he had arranged a sideshow with Livingston because the latter asked Roman to help him without telling Danny.

1. He never actually meets the guy doing the jump, it's his people that he is meeting with.

2. Like the other guy I have no idea how to explain all of that. Livingston looks content and happy when he is thrown in the back of the car so obviously that was the setup but nothing leading up to that makes sense if that's the case, other than Livingston bringing in Roman to swap the machines.

Thanks for the reply Doc80.

I could have sworn that Bank walked in with the motorcycle guy when he (the motorcycle guy) was in his red white and blue suit. I will have to check that again.

There might be a few questions regarding this film but I think it was very entertaining. Oceans 11 & 13 were great; 12 was just ridiculous. A lot of stuff went on in that one that was completely unnecessary. Oh well; fun to watch anyway.

Thanks again.
