Did anyone else cry when they burned her books? I also cried at the end, then laughed my arse off 'cause she was telling herself not to cry, which I have to do all the bloody time.
Also, a ferret with tiny horns is now second on my list of things I want most in this world.

I also think I might be like Elinor when I'm old...I didn't full out cry when they burnt her books, but it did hurt. And I would have been calling them monsters too. Especially when they burnt that beautiful Persian book. I wonder if they burnt actual books while filming?
I'm not sure if you already know this, but I just want to say that Gwin is supposed to be a marten. Ferrets are probably easier to train for a movie though. There are matrtens in real life but not horned ones (as far as I'm aware). You should Google Image them, because they're adorable ^_^

I know what you mean! I had to wipe a tear or two away when her books are being burned. That part always gets me so depressed.
