The original script for this movie (titled: Harvester) was about Seagal fighting aliens that were disguised as attactive women. That was the version of the movie that Michael Keusch shot and Seagal acted in. After principle photography was finished, the production company changed the plot of the movie to what is now described on the IMDb page, and they did some re-shoots (without Seagal) and re-dubbed certain scenes to fit the new storyline.

Seagal was so upset about the extent of the changes that he's now looking to make his next project (Prince Of Pistols) with a different company rather than working with Sony again.

I appreciate this info man. I can't believe they did this *beep* This movie will suck now. I was looking forward to this movie!!! I just know they will ruin it. Guess i'll have to wait for Prince of Pistols.

Sony is only the distributor.

It is Steven Seagal and his production company, Steamroller Productions that keep churning out crap.
Steamroller is responsible for the development, financing, (weak) storylines, production and post-production.

Seagal make tons of money off these films worldwide - mainly because they play much better in every language other than English. In the English you've got Seagals voice and a sound-alike, but in all the foreign versions it is simply a voice actor throughout the whole film. Same thing for all of the other dubbed actors in the English version of the film.

If Seagal wanted to make good movies, he would.
It's that simple

well shouldn't we wait and see what Seagal brings us out for Prince of Pistols then especially when it comes to his writing and directing credit this time around? Who knows but I don't really think it's all Seagal's production company who's doing this, it's Sony.

Well I think the original story would make more sense than the one that is has now. I don't even know what the film was about to be honest.

You can see that most of the fight scenes had been cut down, and some of the scenes had been shuffled around. I like the bit at the start after his men get killed, he says something about he don't know who or "what" he is fighting when he should not of known anything at that point.

This film is funny, what you get for filming an alien film then changing the story and dubbing most of his talking...

-Stunts?? no not one i guess. It was so bad that no stunt was needed.

-Dialoge incertions, yes a lot, sound alike?? mmm not at all, i first thought wtf, did stevens voice change so much over the years? but no, its just done baddly.

-wire fu? mm i guess the only martial art thing you going to see is one *beep* irimi nage. the rest is like kids were fighting. Very badly filmed and no technique at all.

What is this crap for *beep* sake??? He was a great action movie actor, but now? every new movie i see from him is worst than the movie before. Does'nt he have some self respect?? I mean i thought aikido and budism has taught him some.
I guess next seagal movie i'm not gonna botter to watch.

I didn't really see wire-fu, but that dude does not sound like Seagal at all! So yes, dialogue insertions of sound-almost-alikes... but why? is he too lazy to even speak nowadays?
