Seagal just can't fight anymore...

Seriously, he barely throws a kick or two in this flick, and when he does it's like he has to take a break afterwards... Every fight scene is edited in multiple, very short sequences put together to make it look like he can still fight, like they do in those movies where the main character is just a famous hollywood start with absolutely no martial arts skills.. And what about those first person perpective fights where they zoom in on his face and double-chin?? it makes him look like a 10 year old fighting off a bully at school.. Everybody can just throw their fists around randomly like he does, thats not Seagal's Aikido we're used to..

I mean ok, of course he's getting old and you want to give him credits for still being able to make action movies, but at least dont try and make it look like he's still got it when it's pretty obvious he doesnt.. He would probably fit better in other kind of roles, but forget about martial arts he's clearly out of shape.

Another thing about Seagal is that I know he never articulated that much but now it seem's like he's just mumbling, did he just completely throw the towel and doesnt even try to give a good performance or what?

And out of context but I have to say it, the blinking thing, wtf was that ?? Like some injection would make you grow an extra pair of eyelids and change your pupils to make them look like those of a cat, all this to look cool, mysterious and wild??? Argh, horrible...

Anyway, like a previous poster said (but the thread is way too long already), Seagal's career is over and he really nailed the coffin with this one...

I am starting to wonder myself if this is the case, I read a lot of fan praise for the bathroom fight in mercenary for justice I think, but IMHO it was absolutley terrible!!! I didnt believe till that point that any seagal fight could be bad. Just having fights isn't good enough, he must make quality fight scenes..
