4/07/08 show

Tonight's exciting episode continues with the howling hyena - sorry, I mean annoying girl immitating a hyena. In that regard, I will further regard as a hyena. Anyway, of all her wants and needs, her family of hyenas "needed" more cars. Why would animals need cars and how would they be able to drive them I do not know. The Banker didn't know either but generously granted her wish - one car per round as long as she avoided the million. We'll never know why a living thing lacking the sophistication to speak english and drive a motor vehicle would need a car. And sadly, we'll never get to see such an animal attempt to operate one either. The first play in the first round promised us that. First thing she did was knock out the million. Her expression was priceless. It made up for the million howls she let out in the begenning of the game and hopefully all of the howls she will continue to get out of her system on tonight's show. And that's probably enough of that. Let's see what the results of this hyena's first bouts with the Banker turned out:

She first picked case number 12 to hold by her side. And then, she picked case number 15. You know which number was in there. Down the line, she picked cases numbers 2-4-5-6-7-9-11-15(obviously)-16-17-18-19-22-23.

The big numbers to be revealed so far so are $200,000 (case 4), $750,000 (case 14), and of course the $1,000,000 (lovely case 15). She still has 100K, 300K, 400K and 500K. Unfortunately, she's not doing that bad yet. We'll see how her luck will hopefully and completely sour. I will make my predictions on the whereabouts of the remaining big numbers once the game continues.

Her first offer was $37,000. Her second offer would be $103,000. And her third offer would be $49,000. Notably, the hyena's friend or family member had a dream about winning $64,000. Will this hyena make as much as $64,000? Will her family of hyenas learn to become civilized?? Will the world finally come to an end??? Only time time will tell...in a few minutes!

What a wimp stopping at $64,000 when you still have 3 big amounts left. After taxes you arent gonna have much left from that.

I'll Shout It Everywhere I go, I Love You Barry Manilow!

Holy crap, the hyena became sophistocated with nature (and grew a brain) in the fourth round. Case 10 (which I actually suspected) held the $500,000 and the banker offered none other than $64,000. She accepted it immediately without wasting anymore of our time. That's evolution times x100 times faster. Good for her. Spared me a lot of breath and sore typing fingers.

I like this guy. I want him to win. So far, he's only knocked out the 400K (case 18) which happens to be next to his selected case. Early predictions are telling me his case does not have the money. Though it's not uncommon for two big numbers to be next to each other. We'll see how that goes.

reply

500K (1) and 1M (9). That is telling me that case 3 is most likely (but not definitely) safe. I'm also looking at cases 13/14. Got a feeling about them. The twenties have hardly been touched. I'll say maybe 23-24.

reply

300K (7). I am a getting a strong feeling from 14. I hope he stays away from that one. However, if 14 winds up safe, I can see his selected case holding a large number.

reply

23-24. Either one of them or both them hold large numbers. Not sure what to say about 26 yet. He might want to consider the offer now.

reply

Wow. 23 and 24 were both big ones, along with 26. I was right about them all along. And 14 was safe. A little tricky at the end. Good move to get out with 213K.

reply

I never saw anyone bail before they even got to the single-case stage.

The hyena wasn't the only one. There was a cowboy, real laid back type, who was in it purely for enough money for whatever he wanted/needed. It may have been to open a ranch. He was by no means a maniac blood-thirsty for more and more money. He only went two or three rounds in and was offered $81,000. I seem to recall plenty of large numbers still on the board. The million was in his case.
