4/16/08 show

Another Spring Break themed episode. A frat boy this time apparently. It would be really nice if this guy actually had an ounce of common sense and wasn't picked because he represented the stereotype of a frat guy found in so many "National Lampoon" movies. The guy on Monday's show seemed smart in the beginning. Among the credentials he was working on was screenwriting, and by the end of the game, I was convinced every other line of dialogue in his scripts was "Whoa." He transformed more and more into Jeff Spicoli. I hope he knows what he's doing tonight.

I feel a little out of it tonight. I missed what case 11 was. I'll figure it out eventually. It had to be small. 100K (14), 300K (21) and 750K (3) are gone. I'm looking at 10, 24-25. Closer to 25.

Okay, so case 11 is was just $10.00. And 200K (20) is gone. That leads me to believe that 17 is safe. 15 could be safe, but I got a strange feeling about it. Between 24-25, definitely 25. Their case (7) could be holding a big number, but not necessarily the million. The million could be in 25.

I am way off my game tonight. 400K (17) and 1M (13) are gone, leaving only the 500K. I'll say this. 12 and 15 are definitely safe. 5 looks it just wants to prove the randomness of the board. 24-25 no longer have to be big. The 500K could be in their case (7).

Wow. I knew 12 and 15 had to be safe and they were. Between 24-25, 24 was perfectly safe as I suspected. If that was me up there, I would have left with $229,000 (or a little less, since those "after" offers seem a little inflated to rub in the contestants' losses). I probably would have stopped there. Between 7 and 25, it was too close to call. And it wound up being in 25 after all.
