Daytime Version - Howie's Hosting

The new sydnicated daytime version of DoND has been announced as debuting this Fall, and Howie Mandel will be doing double-duty hosting both versions. Each weekday episode will be just half an hour long, and speculation suggests that the game will be revised to feature a faster-paced game (finally) with less briefcases to open and a smaller jackpot. One major drawback - less Models.

I kind of like that idea, except for the fewer cases and lower jackpots. It's not the number of cases that drags the show. It's the theatrics from Howie, the Banker, etc. No offense to Howie and even the "banker." I'm sure the producers encourage him/them to go on endlessly with their schtick. They can do that, just don't get carried away with it anymore.

I also thought with a daytime version, it would be easier for someone to win the million (because of the lack of distractions). Not anymore. I do hope it will allow for normal people, and no more !sshats that are meant to be more "entertaining" for the mainstream audience.
