Yes, seems closer to half. I don't particularly care. But the producers do, it's quite deliberate.
They're just aiming for demographics. The minorities they aim for should resent being commercialized, but they don't, they go "look, we're on TV!".
Producers do anything they can to manipulate viewership, whether it's bottom-line ethical or not.

Well, it kind of makes you wonder if the ball drop is rigged... maybe someone has their finger on a brake button that they can choose exactly what number case they want?
I don't think they resent getting the chance to win $1,000,000.
