Banker's offer question
Here's something I'd like to know. After a deal is made, they try to see what would've happened had the contestant played on. How do they know the banker's next offer so quickly?

shareIn all likelihood a computer comes up with a 'suggested' offer instantly. Then if the producer ('banker') feels like f---ing with you he can plus or minus it.
Note also that the offers get proportionally much bigger when just the computer is involved. Those offers tend to be the highest amount on the board divided by the number of cases remaining. Just straight odds. Whereas the 'banker' offers are well below straight odds.
I think that's kinda crooked, but you're probably not supposed to notice. Who besides me counts cases and divides the highest number by the count?
Thanks for answering. It might also be edited down anyway.
