The only thing that makes this watchable

Watching someone hit the big numbers is great. You can actually hear the person's heart sinking. This lady today hit the $500,000, $250,000, $75,000, and the $50,000 all in the first round and hit the 100,000 the second. The only thing better than that is when the person does really well in the beginning, then gets greedy, plays too long and ends up with $200.

By the way, does anyone else hate how every one of those jerk offs opening the cases peeks inside first. When I see someone do that, I just want to punch him or her in the head.

"You broke my arm!"

i agree. watching people's idiocy and greed destroy them is a beautiful feeling. you know that the one's who refused a good offer and left with nothing will think about their mistake for the rest of their life. and i take pleasure in that fact. in the fact that their greed will cause them to suffer for much longer after the show is over!

i also find it funny that people always say "this will be a low number, i know it." no, idiot, you dont know *beep* just open the case and keep your mouth shut.

The contestants' behavior is so consistent, it's obviously coached. One thing the producers do NOT want is a contestant being offered $15,000 at the end of the first round and taking it. What would they do with the other 20 minutes? That's why it NEVER happens, even though the contestant may well end up with 1/10th that much or less.

I have a theory that they are rewarded every time they say "no deal", since it would explain why they make so many stupid decisions, (although it's probably not the case).

Haha, is it wrong that I sometimes root for someone to bomb out too? Especially when the contestant is obnoxious, which many of them are.

And the peeking inside the cases is definitely annoying, but not as much as the comments they make before revealing the amount. Models shouldn't adlib.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

I use to watch this garbage a few years ago just to look at Hayley Marie Norman and if she was already gone I'd just turn the channel. only good looking model on there.

That's what happened today. This moron has a $121K offer. She has 500k and 75k still left along with 10 and 25. Her husband, a soldier in Afghanistan, tells her to take the deal. She whines and whines about wanting to go one more round and beeeeegs her husband to say ok. He says fine, though you can tell he's not thrilled, and she does. He tells her to pick case 12, but she listens to her best friend (same best friend encouraging her to go on) and picks case 11. So again, she ignores her husband and picks case 11 instead of 12. Case 11 holds the $500k. And so they're $121k offer is now $28k. She takes it because she feels like a dumba$$ at that point and you can tell her husband is pissed. Then Howie does the , 'Lets find out how good a deal you really made' thing and then they open case 12. What was in case 12, 25 dollars :-D. So the moron should have listened to her husband.

It's funny, I was actually rooting for case 11 to have the 500k just so I could laugh at her stupid a**. But I did feel a bit sorry for her husband, his moronic wife lost them $100k.

RIP 2009. Bad year for Celebrities. Now Haiti too
