CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I AM WATCHING A FILM ABOUT SUCKING DOGS OFF
WTF is that all about!
shareWell, if you have the intellectual capacity to comprehend the english language beyond the words you have typed yourself, I can clarify a few things:
A, The movie is not "about" sucking dogs off. It is actually trying to convey quite a few other sets of ideas.
B, Sexual exploration that does not lead to any harm is not a big deal.
Once these two notions starts growing inside that small, closeminded jail of yours, known as your mind, you will come to realise that you do not have to;
A, -write topics in capital letters.
B, -write at all, unless you actually have something constructive to convey.
/With kind regards,

I didn't realise Americans spell realise with a Z? (I say Zed, you say Zee)
Censor *beep* Sucks.
Look over there! Ah, too slow, it's gone. You know what you just missed?
The point.
This movie isn't about that.
She had to have a secret about doing something that didn't hurt anyone, that no one but she knew and that was degrading only to herself.
The point is there are some secrets that are better forgotten.
So many miss one of the great things about this film. You have someone AMY who does something that most people find disgusting. She tells her family, and when they all turn against her, the audience is generally on AMY's side, felling bad for her, and they end up hating the Boyfriend.
Blowing a dog is pretty much the only thing she could have done to really keep that kind of compassion from the audience.
What else could be so "bad" but not turn people off from her character? Murder, Drugs, Incest, Theft? No. Bestiality. I'm not saying that it is right, but it keeps her from being labled a 'bad' person.
Bobcat made this film because it was an interesting idea, a challange, and he did not intend it for a mass audiences. So if you liked Norbit, or if this really wasn't your kind of film, deal with it, you don't need to come here and call it a dog blow job movie.
It's like watching Rambo and complaining that he did not feel compassion for the men he killed, and that there really wasn't a true love story in there either.
This movie was so NOT about her actually sucking the dog off. That was one scene in the first few minutes of it which you never actually see, is handled well and with humor and is thereafter only refferred to. That was just a vehicle to promote disgust in a mainstream market. It had to be something that would provoke a strong response so that the audience could then come to understand how no matter how strange we may think a single act of a person may be, they should no more be defined by it than we would wish to be defined by our own least attractive act, no matter how tame in comparrison.

First, it ISN'T about that, its about jumping to conclusions about an entire person [or in your case movie] without considering ANYTHING but the one incident, rather than the whole person [movie].
Second, if you didn't have any sympathy for the main character, then you have put yourself in the villian role of the very movie you are condemning.
Third, you should try widening your mind a bit. You will find that it automatically widens your heart at the same time. You will then have more room in both for more kinds of people and thoughts. You might like yourself better that way. [I know I did.]
Good Luck, I hope you find happiness.

The movie isn't about that. But it takes to much away, from what it is about.
In the first two minutes I went like.....Are you kidding?!
Could not take my mind off it.
It is distracting from what the point is.
If it matters, I got the point but still did not like the movie.

To the original poster, thanks for giving away the plot twist in the title of your post! Idiot... :(

Agreed....OP you're an *beep* Don't put spoiler in the title.
shareJonboysf, while I agree the OP is a bit of an idiot, it's not a "twist." It's in the first 30 seconds of the movie, dude. It doesn't spoil anything, and it's not a "twist."
And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
