Was this an episode?

I saw something on tv the other day, but I can't remember if it was an I should't be alive episode or not. I don't even know if it was on the Discovery channel either. But what happened was there was a couple lost in the snowy mountains somewhere (don't ask me how they got there, I missed the beginning). They even had a baby with them. Now why they would go there with a baby is beyond me, but anyway, they got lost or something. The husband decided that his wife and son should stay inside a cave while he went off to look for help. His wife agreed and stayed behind in the cave to try to keep their baby warm. She was so cold though that her foot turned black. The husband eventually did find help and the three of them thankfully survived (Obviously the woman's feet had to be amputated[sp?] because they were black).

Did anyone else see this episode? I'm curious if it was an ISBA episode.

LOST IN THE SNOW: A U.S. Army private and his family are caught in a blizzard and must survive for days with no provisions and little hope for rescue. Battling exhaustion and frostbite, the father must decide whether he should forge ahead of his wife and baby or stay together no matter what cost.

They had the baby with them because they were on their way to his Grandmother's funeral (I believe...). The episode was on last night, but I missed the first fifteen minutes.

This story was made into a TV movie with Neil Patrick Harris:

Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd.
(Just leave Johnny Depp out of it!)
