The Discovery channel goes like 2 minutes over so it gets cut off. What was the epilogue? I missed it right after the dude said "so and so never got back together..." somthing like that.

Need I say more? You are remembered.
You know...in most of these shows I find myself rooting for the people to survive, even if they are clueless or do all the wrong things. However with this episode I found myself rooting for the jungle. The woman's initial refusal to kill and eat animals, and her later complaining that she just wanted to stop and 'quit' made me wish the guy would abandon her and just get out on his own.
In a survival situation it is better for a group to stick together...usually they have a better chance of making it, since there are more minds to think of a solution and more hands to get tasks done. (as well as care for sick or injured members) But in their situation I think she was actually increasing his chances of not making it out. It is probably only by sheer luck that they did survive.
