I hate Zachary Levi's character, Berkeley. he was an ass hole. I actually like Mason. Yes, he is very dark, and disturbing, but I see how he has a nice side to him.

yes, i do. but OTHER THAN HIS EVIL, DARK SIDE, he seems to have a somewhat sweet personality.

I wondered what on earth Berkeley got out of his relationship with the uber-geek Mason. It wasn't for the scintillating conversation, for sure.

He was cocky and arrogant but it's obvious he felt responsible for Mason and it's obvious he cared for him.

And, I don't think Mason meant to kill people. It was because of his father.

If you hated the character, then the actor and the movie did their job correctly. You were supposed to hate Berkeley.
