If a god will send me to hell simply for not believing in him then he is not worthy of my worship and praise, and I'd be going to hell anyway for rebelling against him. So if this god of yours is real, believing in him wouldn't do me much good. If you are content to spend all eternity in heaven serving as the lap-dog to a magic fascist tyrant then that is certainly your prerogative. I'll not be blackmailed and intimidated with threats of eternal torture into following your beliefs though.
I do wonder if you see the irony of posting this on the message boards of 'Silence'; A movie where Christians are blackmailed and intimidated and ACTUALLY tortured to death for not submitting to the beliefs and desires of their tyrannical overlords. You are the Inquisitor and I am the Christian in that analogy, if it wasn't clear.
I don't believe Hell is eternal. The Bible says it is but the Bible also says Jonah was in the fish's belly or under the water for ever. For ever was just three days and three nights in that case. Let's not be too literal. Lamentations 3:31-33 is one of the places I draw inspiration from on this issue.

shareNot a Trump supporter, but certainly a Christian. He (Trump) represents Christianity in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. It has nothing to do with God being insecure either, because He isn't insecure. He is the one eternally secure thing in existence. You have a very distorted interpretation of God and what the Bible says about Him.

I'm curious, if Satan tortures and punishes those who have sinned in hell, isn't he sort of a good guy doing the lord's work? Why would he punish those who align with his values???
