telemarketer: can i talk to your parents
Pat O: no they died in a tragic angle food cake accident

reply

well, its not particularly funny... hes singing "reign o'er me" throughout the court bit part of the song is sort of yelled anyway. but hes upset. i din't think it was funny.

reply

OMG YOU ARE A BAD PERSON, THAT IS SOOO NOT FUNNY, not at all

reply

no, i don't think its funny that he's trying to block out everything else. It's just that i've seen his comedy stuff and thats the kind of stuff he'd do in a comedy (yelling something in the middle in court) and yes, i do know thats part of the who song "Love Reign O'er Me", it's one of my favorite songs.

I cried when the court scene came.. I got emotional..
And you laughed..
But I do get you, cuz it really is the kind of things he does in the other movies he's in..

- I think therefor I Yam..

reply

i get sad, but the way he says LOVE just gets me cuz, like i said, its the kind of things he does in the most of the movies he does.

When the prosecuting attorney kept showing the family photos, then put them on the table I wanted to punch him, or hoped one of the characters in the courtroom would! He was just re-traumatizing Charlie... meaner than nurse Cratchet in Cuckoos Nest.

All I have to say it I guess someone thought it was a good idea to put Ted Raimi(Peter Saravino) in a role where he hardly has an speaking parts. It's stupid to do this to such a talented actor who by the way it so much more talented that Adam Sandler.

I think the casting of BJ Novak was a brilliant casting job. He does such a good job playing a swarmy, overconfident prick on The Office, and he pulls it off here as well. I loved the scenes with him and Sutherland in the courtroom, some great comedy in a serious film. Although I could have done without Liv Tyler, I think the casting of Novak, Sutherland, and some others make up for it.

Jesus are you kidding? Ever notice that the movies/tv shows Ted is cast in are movies that his brother directed or produced?

Sandler has more talent in his *beep* than Ted.

I think you're the one who is kidding yourself. I guess you've never seen any of the movies that his has had amazing roles in that his brother isn't even involved in. I have no problem with Adam Sandler by the way. I think he's a good actor too but it's just not good that he gets more good roles that an actor like Ted Raimi.
