i lost my brother.
i have never watched a movie or something whch actually portrays the feelings of people who lost their family. film also cathes perfectly the attitude and selfishness of other people around who in fact annoys and hurts all the time by stupid interventions. i rated it with a 10.
i cried all the time watching it.

I just recently lost my dad. I feel for you. This film struck a chord in me, too. The way the court lawyer was being so insensitive, and how people were thinking he had to face it! But he wasn't ready, just like he said, and just like Liv Tyler's character said, he has to go HIS OWN WAY. Everybody deals with loss differently.
Agreed....very good movie! Well directed, well written, and well acted! Both Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle were perfect!
