I lost friends in 9-11 , this is how I felt, how I saw the world, the pain I STILL feel after all these years. Mr Sandler's performance breaks my heart - taking me back to that very dark place - it is the only mirror of what I felt all those years.

curious no offense but what made you watch a movie about the after math of the 9/11 event? Do you try watch other movies or is it thisone case

So sorry to hear about your loss. I think Sandler did a great job of someone living with the ultimate grief. It literally ruins you and you'll never be the same again.
