Why would David have his secret stash of money inside his apartment?????? Like you seriously have the ability to hide your money anywhere you want. ANYWHERE AT ALL!!!!!. Yet he decides to have it in a hidden room in his apartment. Stupidest idea ever. Just straight stupid
In the book he built himself a hideaway in a desert grotto, which was inaccessible to anyone but himself. He spread his money around to different hiding places, but the main reason he built hidden rooms in them was so he could teleport in there unnoticed, so he could make sure nobody was waiting to surprise him in the main area.
The NSA was sfter him in Jumper, they tried laying in wait for him at his home, then shooting him with a combination long acting tranquilizing dart/GPS tracker. They calculated that they would be able to get to him wherever in the world he teleported to, before he woke up.
Unfortunately for them, he went to his desert grotto, which was underground, and blocked their ability to locate him. Even more unfortunate for them was he decided to return the favor, and pay them a visit.
Imagine being one of those smug NSA guys going to get a coffee, then having him suddenly jump you to an altitude of 10,000 feet, leaving you to fall to your death, or so you think, as just before you hit the ground he jumps you back to where you started, albeit with your shorts soundly soiled.
That's what happens when you mess with an angry, yet merciful, God.
Having rooms only he can enter in places far away would be a way better idea then having it in a hidden room inside his apartment. Thx for the comment by I didn't read the book.
