Grange Hill

This show is now unbelievably lame. Wack storylines and wooden acting, not to mention cartoon situations.
Bring back Grange Hill....

Waterloo Road is still good, but i'm still doubting this Waterloo Road move to Scotland very much. It'd be the same anywhere ... you don't jusyt move a School hundreds of miles and say it's the same 1 in a new location cos thing's did'nt work out and it was closed down as Waterloo Road are planning (or similar)!

They moved Grange Hill to Liverpol without mentioning it.Didn't last much longer.

It could easily be the same for Waterloo Road too when they move to Glasgow I fear too, Mark. Unless the writting is beyond skillfull and beyond amazing!

I prefered Grange Hill most of the storys were better & didn't constintly add new characters for one or 2 episodes for them to suddenly vanish again.

True NorthernGooner,I totaly 100% agree with you here but I think that this is a qaulity Waterloo Road is good at!

Just started to watch it and been catching up with previous series.

Not a bad series and not necessarily a bad thing, but I must say it is like going back into a time warp. It's basically just a modern day Grange Hill.

Having watched Grange Hill from Series 1 in 1978 through to the series in the late 90's before they completely toned it down, there are so many same story lines, or variations of story lines.

It's like they have watched the first 20 or so series of Grange Hill and just made it a bit more suitable for adult audiences.

If anything though some of the Grange Hill story lines were more hard hitting, particularly on issues such as Racism and Bullying.
