Please explain SCOTLAND? MANCHESTER?
I don't really watch this programme,I have seen the odd episode over the years but not a huge fan.
I have always been uneasy about adults watching adults in school uniforms pretending to be school kids.
I had read it was moving to Scotland and watched a few minutes tonight to see what it was like.
I am Scottish and live in Scotland,I hate Scottish Nationalism and hope the UK never breaks up but the ignorance about Scottish issues sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
When Scotland and England joined together Scotland retained 3 things to keep it Scottish,EDUCATION,RELIGION and LAW.
(Every schoolkid in Scotland used to be taught this but that was 30 years ago when I was at school, god knows what they teach them now).
Anyway there is a British army and we have British passports but there is no British education system and no British legal system, there is an english and welsh legal system and a scottish legal and education system.
So how can a school move to Scotland?it is true that many private schools in Scotland use english exams rather than Scottish ones but the school in Waterloo road is not a private school is it? there are no academys or free schools in Scotland either so what sort of school is it meant to be and how were all the kids supposed to have moved from the north west of England?
