Why shouldn't pupils at the boarding house over the age of consent sleep together? They should have condom machines and the morning after Pill available in all secondary schools. And why was she surprised? Oh-shouldn't the house rules be decided democratically by vote of the residents rather than made up by her?

I think it is more to do with the boarding house as part of the school...so they are under 'school pupil rules'...not general English law of 'over the age of consent'.Maggie knows she has to be firm with the teens.And rightly so.

School pupil rules should allow them to sleep together.

It would be Scottish law if any law was to be applied.
