Worst Actors ever on Waterloo road

which Waterloo Road characters do you think were quite poorly acted by the actor/actress playing them

reply

Winning hands down has to be that ginger haired kid(the gym teacher's son). His wooden plank acting and his 'whiny' mumbling voice and his 'daddy doesn't love me'ambience his rather grating me now!I still think scout is the best actress and best looking girl in WR.

reply

I totaly agree - the kid who play's Zack is a terrible actor indeed, though I only just noted this after Wed's episode - I don't know how though.

reply

The guys who play Zack and Kyle Stack.

You do realise that expressing a dislike for the character doesn't make George Sampson a bad actor? That was the thread topic.

My vote would go to Shifaa Arfan. A little better towards the end of the series, but for the most part totally unnatural delivery. Looked uncomfortable and wooden all the time.

I agree with you about Kyle, I didn't think the actor was good at all, he had the same voice and expression on his face all the time, but if he is a dancer by trade(?), that's probably why.

Glad he is gone to be honest, I hope the new cast is more enjoyable since I imagine there will be a lot of cast changes. I hope Zack, and his PE teacher father are gone too. The sister/daughter was alright though if memory serves.

For the current cast, the actors who play Lorraine Donnegan, Dynasty, Barry Barry, the Barry mother, and the kid who Chalky adopts.

As far as the current cast, Lorraine is ok. but I agree with the other 4 you mentioned.
I am not 100% sure but Barry and his mothers accents do not sound authentic, and I think this does make the acting even more unbelievable.

When Barry Barry was compared to Bolton in last nights episode, I was thinking..."That is an insult to Bolton", Bolton was a loveable rogue, Barry is just a rogue, I don't find his character or his acting the least bit likeable.

reply

Er... all of them!

reply

Bolton wanted to make something of himself as a boxer (even if he went about it wrong). I'm only on Episode 14, but so far Barry just wants to be a menace. You can't compare them at all.

Actress who played Tom's first wife Lorna. And, as much as I hate to say it, Chelsee Healey. I love Chelsee to pieces, but the truth is, she's a terrible actress!
